The Worcestershire Association of School Business Management (WASBM) was established in 2008 after a number of Business Managers had felt the need for a forum to discuss mutual interests, promote best practice and assist in professional development. We have links with other professional groups and bodies e.g. the Midland Bursar Group (MBG), and the National Association of School Business Management (NASBM), Worcestershire Association of Secondary Headteachers (WASH) and the National College for School Leadership (NCSL).

Our aims are to establish a forum to enable Worcestershire School Business Managers to discuss issues of mutual interest and concern, to provide a vehicle for the promotion of best practice amongst School Business Managers in order to improve school management and the outcomes for students and to facilitate the support and professional development of School Business Managers in Worcestershire.

Membership of the association is open to school based post holders that have strategic responsibility for School Business Management, all new members are welcomed and supported by their fellow colleagues.
